What is a browser game?
Knight Online, Ogame and Travian are just some of the most popular browser games. Browser games are played online via internet. In order to play these games you do not have to download anything. You just get a membership and start playing. Thousands of people are playing these kinds of games and it has been a huge market. It is especially popular among teenagers but too many people, from young to old, play it and most of them say that they are addicted. What is Travian?
Travian is a browser game with thousand of players. You begin the game as a chief of a tiny village. Your aim is to grow quicker than the other players and have powerful soldiers and have control over the other players. In order to grow you need to develop your resource fields at first. Otherwise you will not be able to supply your people.
There are four different types of resource fields in this game: wood, clay, iron and crop. While developing your resource fields you need to train soldiers and get ready for enemies. If you build a cranny you will save your resources from the enemy raiders.
Before starting, you need to choose among these tribes: Romans, Teutons and Gauls. Each tribe has different features in the game in terms of soldiers and buildings. All you need to do is to grow and defence your village against your enemies.
Certainly, it is very hard to do it with one village and limited resources but you can have your allies and grow faster by getting help and helping your allies as well. Besides you can buy gold to grow faster. How can you grow faster with gold? With 5 golds you can increase your production 25 % or you can have 10 % attack point and defence point.
The process may be so slow for you, if you say you get bored waiting, there is an alternative way; 3x speed server. In 3x speed server, as it can be understood from the name, the process is 3 times faster, so you can grow faster. After you grow enough, you can build up another village or take control of resource areas. If you do not want to fight you might trade your resources.

Travian serves 33 countries in their own language. People from all over the world have been playing this game; some of them even earn money. How do they do it? I dont understand this game.. I have been playing Travian for a couple of months and developed armor and weapon pretty much. But every time Im attacked, the enemy kills 4 times more of my soldiers. If I have 100 soldiers, all of them are killed and my soldiers have only killed 20 or 30 of the enemy soldiers..?? Any reasonable explanation for this?
And also it is impossible to build up anything.. Im attacked several times a day..

Yeah I have a quite reasonable explanation. If your enemy has more attack and defense points he could kill more than you could do!

Hmm… then they have developed a lot more than I did… It is pretty hard to reach a level and become a strong village. There is always some who are much much stronger
