Land of Imagination: Disneyland Park
Located in California, USA, Disneyland is an entertainment and tourism centre. It was established by Walt Disney in 1955. Disneyland is like a fair that generally attracts child’s attention, however it is visited by people of every age, and in it characters of Disney live. It is just a part of Walt Disney Company.
Name of Disneyland was changed in order to prevent the confusion with Disneyland Resort in Paris, it is called Disneyland Park. The idea of building such a great park was simple; Walt Disney wanted a place that will be enjoyed by children and adults when he was going around with his own children. Some fans were willing to visit Disney studio and it was impossible due to working conditions, so Disney combined these ideas, a place for fans and his ideal world. It was Disneyland!
Entertainment Choices in Disneyland
Every part of Disneyland is like magic, railroads, Disney characters, parks, lands, squares. When Walt Disney planned the land, it was just a small land, just 8 acres, but the idea grew and Disneyland was built in nearly 160 acres.
Park is divided into lands; these lands are Main Street USA, Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, and Tomorrowland. Main Street USA is the depiction of an American town; it is located in the entrance of Disneyland, and Main Street USA is similar to the town of Disney himself, Marceline. It is like a little town, there are town square, theatre, shops, and all other details. Sleeping Beauty Castle is found in this part of Disneyland, like a fairy tale castle stands at the end of town. In order to pass other areas, every visitor sees this part, Main Street USA.
After typical American town, you can visit Adventureland. It depicts a tropical world; imagine jungles combined with fairy elements. Places to visit in Adventureland include Jungle Cruise, Tarzan’s Treehouse and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye.
Fantasyland is the place where fairy tales come true. You can witness these tales and you can be even a part of them. Seeing medieval effect is not extraordinary in this well designed and built land.
Frontierland is the historical department of Disneyland, a setting depicting pioneer days and history surrounds you. Frontierland is one of the best pieces of Disneyland Park, first of all the idea is very meaningful, depicting pioneer days.
What about future? Of course it was mentioned, Tomorrowland is a good place to experience days of “tomorrow” after seeing other meaningful and magic lands. Space, rocket, stars, voyages, all these futuristic elements can be found in Tomorrowland.
Going around by railway is possible in the park, while you are going around Disney characters, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Minnie will greet you, lively performances should be watched, there are also daily organizations, you should follow all of them in this magic land. Visiting Disneyland Park is like living in a fairy tale, you will enjoy it no matter how old you are.
