Madame Tussauds Museum is one of the most popular museums of London. It was founded by Mary Tussauds. Imagine a world with full of celebrities, singers, actors and actresses, leaders, TV stars, sports stars, royal people at one place… Isn’t it interesting being surrounded by all these people? Who is Mary Tussauds?
Mary Tussauds is a French artist lived between the years 1761 and 1850. Mary Tussauds is famous with her wax sculptures and the museum in which these sculptures are represented: Madame Tussauds Museum. She owns her talent to her step father. He was a physician and he was using wax to study anatomy. Her step father began to make wax figures. Mary was working with him and developing herself. The first wax figure she did is Jean Jacques Rousseau.  She had the collection of her step father and exhibited it. It was a time of wars and revolutions. Mary was depicting victims of these events with wax. With time, museum she opened attracted more attention. It became so attractive that branches of the museum were opened. These museums are found in Amsterdam, Berlin, Las Vegas, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Washington DC. However, the center is still London Madame Tussauds Museum.
