July 15, 2008 – 10:03 pm

RecyclingRecycling is the way of making new materials from old collected materials. Products that can be recycled after some chemical or physical processes are used again. Things that can be recycled are glass, paper, aluminum, plastic, batteries, accumulator, organic wastes, and electronic ones.

Steps of Recycling
A great amount of recyclable thing is found in the bins as food and drink packages, metal, plastic, glass, paper and carton. In order to make these things be included in recycling process, there are some steps to follow. These are:

1. Picking: Picking useful pieces from other things is the first step.
2. Collecting recyclable pieces: This process aims to collect recyclables separately from other dirty, dusty things.
3. Categorizing: All materials are categorized as glass, paper, plastic etc.
4. Recycling: Classified materials are processed chemically or physically, they are recycled and ready for use.
5. Serving the new product: The recycled materials are served to public.

Recycling Categories
Glass and paper are two major package types consumed for many reasons, at home, in the school, at the office, so these are two major recycling sources. Plastic and textile follow them. Additionally, empty batteries can be recycled and this is a very important, because an empty battery produces harmful things for environment, it should be recycled. Metal and concrete are other recyclables; they are used widespread and they have huge recycling industries. Recycling electronics is becoming popular, there are many campaigns for it, and it is both useful for people and for recycling.

Recycling Makes Our World a Better Place
The natural sources look like endless but one day all of them may end, recycling protects our natural sources. Energy saving is a significant part of recycling, instead of producing a thing newly, recycling it requires less energy. Amount of wasting becomes less, day by day we have difficulty to find place for waste, with recycling a solution is found to this problem. Recycling means making plans for future, now we have water, air, food, many other things, but nobody can guarantee that our children will live in abundance, recycling is taking precautions before it became too late.
