MUSIC: Queen and Paul Rodgers

Queen is a famous English band. It was established in 1970 and stayed active till 1997. Group members were John Deacon, Brian May, Freddie Mercury and Roger Taylor. Band Queen released many albums, singles, covers, soundtrack albums and video albums. Main albums of them are chronologically Queen, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at the Opera, A Day at the Races, News of the World, Jazz, The Game, Flash Gordon, Hot Space, The Works, A Kind of Magic, The Miracle, Innuendo, Made in Heaven and finally The Cosmos Rocks.
Some specific event brought the end of the band Queen. Deacon got retired, Mercury died. The other members kept on playing from time to time. In 2004, with Paul Rodgers, the band became active again. Paul Rodgers is a famous English song writer and singer. The group was named Queen + Paul Rodgers. The members of the band are Brian May, Roger Taylor, Paul Rodgers, Danny Miranda, Jamie Moses and Spike Edney.
Queen and Paul Rodgers began to work together in 2004. They played together, toured together and Paul Rodgers became one of the members of group. Their last work is the album “The Cosmos Rock”.
Queen + Paul Rodgers – The Cosmos Rocks Album
The Cosmos Rocks is the first album of Queen + Paul Rodgers. The band Queen was still for a long time so the album is waited much. Critics and Queen and Paul Rodgers fans wait for the album impatiently as this is also the first release of the new band. “The Cosmos Rocks” album is planned to be released on 15 September 2008 in Europe. Album of Queen and Paul Rodgers “The Cosmos Rocks” was produced under the label Parlaphone and Hollywood. Producers of the album are Queen and Paul Rodgers, Kris Fredriksson, Joshua Macrae and Justin Shirley Smith.
Each group members had different roles during production period of the album. Taylor Hawkins is the back vocal, Roger Taylor is vocal, drum and percussion player, Brian May plays guitar, bass, piano and Paul Rodgers is vocal, he also plays guitar, harmonica and bass.
Before the production and release period of the album “The Cosmos Rocks”, Queen and Paul Rodgers had a long tour. During this tour, some of the songs of the new album were performed and enjoyed. After that, these songs were used in the album. Up to now, two singles were released from the album. These singles are “Say It’s Not True” and “C-lebrity”. “The Cosmos Rocks” is an album that was awaited for a very long time. Singles were enjoyed and all the album will waited to hit the world music lists.
