Heroes Season 3: VILLAINS

Heroes is a science fiction American drama series, created and developed by Tim Kring and broadcasted on NBC. Heroes first appeared on television on September 25, 2006. Heroes tells the story of some individuals who are seemingly ordinary with special abilities.
Season 1: Genesis
In the first season, a seemingly ordinary group of people begin to be aware of their abilities and capacities.
The heroes of first season are Claire Bennet, D.L. Hawkins, Isaac Mendez, Hiro Nakamura, Matt Parkman, Nathan Petrelli, Peter Petrelli, Sylar/Gabriel Gray, Niki Sanders and Micah Sanders. Claire Bennet (Hayden Penettiere) is a talented high school cheerleader who has the ability of regeneration. Her body heals itself quickly so she can recover all injuries. D.L. Hawkins (Leonard Roberts), husband of Niki Sanders, father of Micah Sanders, is a gang leader and can go through solid objects. Isaac Mendez (Santiago Cabrera), the writer of the comic book 9Th Wonders, has the ability to paint the future. Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka), is a programmer who can manipulate the space and time continuum. He can stop the time and travel in time. Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg), is a LAPD detective who has the ability of hearing people’s thoughts. Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar), brother of Peter Petrelli, is a congressional candidate who can fly. He discovers his superpower when his brother attempts to jump down from a building. Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) is the most powerful of all with the ability of absorbing others’ superpowers. Sylar (Zachary Quinto) can see how the machines work and he can repair them, he owns others’ abilities by killing them. Niki Sanders (Ali Larter), wife of D.L. Hawkins, mother of Micah Sanders, is an internet stripper who has multiple personality disorder and superhuman strength. Micah Sanders, (Noah Gray-Cabey) the child of Niki Sanders and D.L. Hawkins, has the ability to control electronic devices.
Of course there are ordinary characters in Heroes such as Mohinder Suresh, Noah Bennet and Ando Mashashi. Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) is one of the important characters in the series; he is a professor of genetics. He travels to United States to investigate his father’s death, while doing the investigation he happens to see the list of the people who have extraordinary abilities. Noah Bennet (Jack Coleman) works in Primatech Paper Company which is actually an organization aiming to find the people who are extraordinary. Ando Masahashi is a co-worker of Hiro Nakamura and also a friend who travels with him to United States.
In this season, Isaac Mendez paints the future and in one of the paintings New York is destroyed by an explosion. Hiro Nakamura tells Peter to “save the cheerleader and to save the world.” He has to fight Sylar in order to save the cheerleader, Claire Bennet. If he can not save the cheerleader, Sylar will get the power of Claire and become invincible. The first season includes 23 episodes.
Second Season: Generations
Season two starts with the events take place four months later, after the Kirby Plaza event. In the second season, we see some new characters who make the series more attractive such as Maya and Alejandro from Honduras, Claire’s new boyfriend West, Monica Dawson and Elle Bishop. Season two ends earlier than expected because of the writers’ strike. It consists of 11 episodes.
Season 3: Villains
Millions of fans from all over the world have been expecting the third season which is called “Villains”. Villains will start with a two-hour premiere on September 22, 2008. Villains would be included in the second season but writers decided to go on strike and it had to be delayed. Fans expect to see more new characters in the third season, we have to wait a little more for that and see if it will be so. “Good will battle evil” in the upcoming season, we will see which side will win on September 22, 2008.
