English alternative rock band Coldplay has released four albums since the group was found in 1997. From a college group, they became known around the whole world with their distinctive style. Single “Yellow” brought fame to the Coldplay and chronologically their albums are: Parachutes, A Rush of Blood to the Head, X&Y, and the latest one is Viva la Vida or Death and His Friends.

You may wonder what the title of the album means, Viva la Vida. It is Spanish meaning “Long live life”. The group explained that they took the title from a painting of Frida Kahlo. This song was released before the entire album and it hit the lists. It stayed on the top of the lists in the USA and UK, and in many other countries it also had a place in the music lists. Violet Hill is the other single released before album; the song also has a video. The album sold more than 300.000 copies in just three days after released. It is predicted that it sold nearly 6 million copies in the world up to now.
