Deutsche Lufthansa or briefly Lufthansa is the airline company of Germany. Lufthansa is the largest airline company of Europe and it is the fifth largest one in the world. Main airport base of Lufthansa is Frankfurt International Airport, in addition to that it has a minor base; Munich International Airport.
Lufthansa is a member of Star Alliance; it has also a role in the founding process of Star Alliance. Star Alliance was founded with just five airline companies, and Lufthansa is one of them.

Establishment of Lufthansa
The company was founded in 1926 under the name of Deutsche Luft Hansa Aktiengesellschaft, but with time it changed and only word “Lufthansa” was used. Lufthansa began with limited destinations, and it showed great development, flights to Spain, East, Atlantic and South America were available when it was founded. World War I and II affected the airline company, after World War I new destinations added, and after Second World War, the company required a renewal. After renewal, Lufthansa had flights to many points of Europe. It is an old company, so from time to time, renewal becomes necessary, and Lufthansa is a company that keeps itself up to time. With a strong fleet, now Lufthansa has flight to all over the world.*
